Tumblr Penpals
Want to painlessly connect to other Tumblr users? Just email tumblrpenpals@gmail.com with a message you want someone else to see. It can be a bit about you, a diary entry, a poem, a generic love letter, or anything really. Your message will then be randomly forwarded to another person and your email address will be saved for someone else’s message to be sent to. If everyone is nice, you’ll end up getting two penpals by just submitting one message.
If you would rather your message show up on the Tumblr Penpals page so that anyone can choose to contact you, put “PUBLIC” in the subject line, and if it’s appropriate, it will be posted here with your email address displayed like “name (at) gmail.com”.
Be patient as it may take anywhere from a minute to an eternity for your message to get to someone, for you to get someone’s else’s message, or for your public message to get posted.
